Coalition to support fringe benefits tax measures
The Federal Opposition says it is not likely to stand in the way of Government efforts to reverse a change to the fringe benefits tax (FBT), which was going to leave some low-income workers worse off.

PARIS -(Dow Jones)- Tax revenue as a proportion of gross domestic product is rising in many industrialized countries due to robust economic growth, a broader tax base and improving tax compliance, the Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development said Wednesday.
