City Council raises commercial tax rate
Over the objections of the business community, the Honolulu City Council voted Wednesday to hike the tax rate on commercial, industrial and hotel properties. The vote was 6 to 3. Council members Charles Djou, Ann Kobayashi, and Donovan Dela Cruz voted in the minority.
