New tax rules aim to end junk donations
Washington- Donating an old toaster or television to a local charity won't count as a tax deduction if it's not in good condition. Any household item with little value probably won't qualify for a deduction under new tax rules for charitable giving and receiving.

HANOI -(Dow Jones)- The Ministry of Finance has lowered its import tax for new cars to 60% from 70% - its third reduction this year - to boost domestic consumption, a ministry official told Dow Jones Newswires Monday.
