Budget plan avoids raising property tax
OGDEN - The Weber County Commission has approved a budget for 2007 that has the best of both worlds: pay raises for employees and no property-tax hike for residents. Under the $104.6 million budget approved Tuesday, all employees will get 2 percent cost-of-living raises and 2 percent merit raises.
