Grit bill promises hybrid-car tax break
Nova Scotia Liberals want people who buy fuel-efficient cars to get a tax break. "There are other jurisdictions that have tax incentives. Some of them have punitive taxes if you buy vehicles with larger engines," said Liberal MP Diana Whalen, who tabled the bill in the legislature Friday morning.
