Houston tax preparer pleads guilty to filing false returns
A former Jackson Hewitt and Express Tax employee has pleaded guilty to claiming fuel tax credits totalling nearly $850,000 on 109 tax returns she prepared for customers, U.S. Attorney Don DeGabrielle said in a statement today.
