De Villepin to Pledge Tax, Deficit Cuts in Election-Year Budget
Sept. 27 (Bloomberg) -- French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin today will juggle two pledges as he delivers his 2007 budget, eight months before elections: 6.5 billion euros ($8.3 billion) in tax cuts and rebates, and a lower deficit.
