Gov's business tax plan moves ahead
A state Senate committee on Tuesday advanced Gov. Rod Blagojevich's $7 billion business tax proposal amid warnings that big changes are needed, but the governor seized the chance to cheer as he prepared to defend his plans to wary lawmakers in a special House hearing.
