Lib Dems will cut tax - Campbell
Lib Dem leader Sir Menzies Campbell will promise a 2p cut in income tax in a shakeup of the party's policies.
Exline pleads to single count of tax evasion
MONDAY: Former West Palm Beach City Commissioner Jim Exline, who resigned from the commission in January, pleaded guilty to a tax-evasion count. Exline was paid $50,000 in 2004 by a developer whose project he helped through the approval process at the city planning department where he had once worked, prosecutors said. He also failed to declare the income on his 2004 tax return, prosecutors said.
