Minnesota tax increase boosts Iowa sales
ARMSTRONG – Minnesota residents are driving to Iowa cities, such as Armstrong, to buy cheaper cigarettes. On Monday, Minnesota’s new Health Impact Fee went into effect on cigarettes. The fee is an additional tax of 75 cents per cigarette pack.
