Sales tax referendum for children’s programs could follow CHOICES
By Christopher Curry Staff writer The quarter-cent sales tax funding the county’s CHOICES health services program sunsets at the end of 2011 and the possibility has surfaced of another sales tax referendum in 2012 to fund children’s programs – with some of the money raised potentially going toward the construction of a children’s hospital.
