Lawmakers looking at billions worth of tax break legislation
While one legislative committee was discussing a precariously balanced $18 billion budget for 2005-06, the committee next door was faced with dozens of proposals for tax credits, deductions or incentive programs that would take billions of dollars in revenue away from the budget.
