Public can talk about tax rate, proposed county budget tonight
The public will get a chance to sound off tonight on the tax rate and the proposed 2006-07 county budget. Currently, the budget keeps the current tax rate of 63 cents per $100 valuation. It calls for spending $115 million, including several million from the county’s savings.
