Tax Time 2005
Q: I made two online purchases from out of state in 2005 and 2006. I was told the tax rate for these purchases is 8.375%. When I did the math, to calculate how much I owed, I added it up without adding the tax on shipping I paid. I was told that I don’t pay tax on the shipping and handling charges. Is this right?
